5 Exercise Mistakes We've All Been Making

What you do AFTER a workout is as important as what you’re doing before, and during. In true FT fashion, we broke down the top exercise mistakes that are ruining your fitness progress- so you can be more efficient on your mission to get FIT!
1. Pre-Workout Nutrition
Fuelling your body pre-workout is essential for having the proper energy to actually crush it. Avoid fatigue and lack of energy by preparing meals with substance prior to working out. 2. Hydrate
Hydration is an important part of your diet, regardless of whether or not you’re working out. You’re going to want to stay hydrated before, during, and especially after a sweaty sesh. Experts recommend you drink roughly 30-35 ml of fluids per kg of body weight, per day! Oh and add an extra 500 - 1000 ml if you’re working out.
3. Stretching
Warming up and cooling down is a huge part of your workout! Your muscles work better when they’re warmed up, and the soreness won’t be nearly as bad if you take time for post-workout recovery stretches!

Technically this step could come before your workout, or after! Your body needs protein to recover from your exercise session and to help build more muscle. 5. High stress lifestyle
