Finding the right amount of exercise

It really depends on lifestyle. The general recommended amount is 2.5 hours a week of moderate-intensity workouts - if you break that down, that’s about 30 minutes a day (easy peasy). Choosing the right type of exercise

The first thing to remember is that any form of exercise is good for the body and mind. Even taking a brisk walk or shovelling snow. We also have some effective exercises you can do to kick things up a notch. Interval style workouts - activities like walking, running, some weight training or even carrying items up and down the stairs count! Strength training combined with cardio works together to help maintain overall health.  

 

 

Knowing the importance of protein

 Consuming the proper amount of protein after exercise is essential. We recommend fuelling your body with a form of protein 30-45 mins post-workout as it helps repair muscles while replenishing your body with good cals.
