3 Guilt-Free Halloween Treats!

Spooky season is officially here, which means we'll all be indulging in lots of candy and other junk foods. So to help we’ve put together our fav healthy options for fun, guilt-free halloween treats!
Treat #1: Protein Pumpkin Balls
These Pumpkin Balls are the perfect protein packed fall inspired snack!
Ingredients:
- ½ cup pumpkin puree
- 16 chocolate chips, mini
- 6 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
- 2 scoops Vanilla Weight Management Shake
- ½ white chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor for 2-4 mins.
- Divide the base into 8 units and roll into balls.
- Roll into a bowl of unsweetened coconut flakes and refrigerate until hardened, and store for up to one week.
- “Spooky” coating tip: In a microwave safe glass bowl melt white chocolate chips for 30 seconds, then pour onto the balls before putting them in the fridge.
Treat # 2: Protein Candy Corn
These delicious little treats are perfect for your sweet tooth!
Ingredients:
- 30 grams (¼ cup coconut milk)
- ¼ tsp fine sea salt
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 4 tbsp vegan butter
- 2 scoops Vanilla Weight Management Shake
- Liquid food coloring: orange and yellow
Instructions:
- You’ll need a saucepan and kitchen thermometer.
- Mix the dry ingredients in a blender or food processor, then set aside.
- Heat the maple syrup in a saucepan, stir in the sugar, water and vanilla extract on medium heat. Then cover for 4-5 mins. Remove the lid and stir in vegan butter until melted. Place in the thermometer and allow it to cook until it reaches 240F. Once it reaches temp remove.
- Add the dry mix in the saucepan and use a spatula to mix the dry into the wet until it's a thick dough. Let cool for 15 mins, once cooled cut the dough into 3 pieces. Use the food coloring to mix into the pieces. Once done, cut the candy up. Lay it on a baking sheet, and place in the fridge for 15 mins.
Treat #3: Banana Ghosts
The simplest, healthy Halloween treat! They're so easy to make with only 2 ingredients (PLUS they're kid friendly).
Ingredients:
- 2 medium bananas
- 8 mini (dark) chocolate chips
- ½ tsp of natural peanut butter (or soy butter)
Instructions:
- Peel the bananas then slice them in half.
- Try standing them on the edge then trimming the base until they can stand on their own.
- Press the 2 chocolate chips into the bananas for the eyes and one for the nose. Serve on a plate with PB as the dipping sauce.
