Tips for Going Keto!

With so many diet trends out there it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, unsure of where to begin - one of the most popular being Keto. A Keto diet consists of foods high in fat and low in carbs, which helps break down fat into molecules called Ketones. Ketones then become your body’s main source of energy. If you’re interested in going Keto, we’re here to help with our top six tips for success!
1. Do Your Research & Keep the Changes Simple
There are many ways to go about Keto diets, with slightly different food recommendations. The key to navigating these is to ensure you do your homework, by researching credible sources and deciding which Keto program would work best for you and your lifestyle. When starting a new diet it’s also important not to overwhelm yourself or your body, this means keeping the changes in your meal plan as simple as you can, while still sticking to the Keto guidelines. 2. Ditch the Temptations & Grab a Partner!
Best way to avoid those carb loaded temptations is to purge them from reach. This means tossing or donating those high sugar and carb loaded foods. 3. Portioning
While going Keto can have heaps of health benefits, you’ll want to be sure you’re still portioning properly, as with any healthy diet. The best way to keep portions under control is with meal prep, set aside an hour or so each Sunday to plan out and prep your Keto friendly meals for the week ahead.
4. Stay Hydrated
