Tips & tricks for the 4th of July

It’s like Christmas, but better. Yep, the fourth of July is coming up babes and we know it’s going to be freakin’ festive! That being said, we want to make sure you don’t get toooo off track and throw your fitness progress out the window. So we’ve got a few things you’re gonna wanna keep in mind for the 4th of July.
The first thing you need to do is W-A-K-E-U-P. No seriously, don’t sleep in, babe. We know it’ll be a holiday, and sleep can be freakin’ magical. But when there’s day-long festivities, the earlier you get up, the better. Cause once the snapchats start coming in, and your friends are calling you to come over - the chances of you skipping your workout significantly increase. So don’t let that happen. Set your alarm, wake up, get your sweat on, and don’t forget to finish your workout with your Flat Tummy Shake. It’ll make sure you’re fueled for the big day ahead of you!
We don’t know about you guys, but we have a serious habit of going to parties and over doing it with the free snacks (easy access, duh). So to avoid the next-day food coma, we’ve got an idea that juuuust might work. It might seem super silly, but use a plate to grab your snacks, and set up a place to hangout that’s a bit further away from the food table. If allllll the snacks aren’t right in front of you, there’s a better chance you won’t consume as many empty calories. Plus, don’t forget to put an Appetite Suppressant Lollipop in your pocket to help control those cravings!
So let’s be real. We’re gonna have a couple drinks on the 4th of July, there’s no doubt about that. But that doesn’t mean we have to feel like sh*t the next day. Make sure you think about what you want to have as your refreshment, and try to pick something that isn’t super heavy and gonna make you feel mega-bloated. Slushie drinks are typically quite high in sugar, and though they may be yummy AF, your tummy prob won’t feel too good afterwards. Try sticking to low carb drinks or if you’re mixing up a little somethin’ somethin’, you can use water and mio (water flavoring) as well as different fruits as your mix! Water is key for bouncing back the next day afterall.
Last but not least, it’s a holi-DAY, not a holi-week. So get into all the festivities and enjoy the day, cause come the 5th of July, we’re getting back on track and getting our tummies flat.
You’ve got this.
